I just recently started a new painting with my new palette of colors. The consistency and flow is great. Admittedly I am now attempting to mix all the colors I want to use, instead of reaching for a ready made color. Good lesson but I have a ways to go. So far I am very pleased.
I love the rich texture and lusciousness of this paint. It takes some getting used to if you have been using other tube paints for awhile but it is smooth and buttery and allows your brush to move through it in interesting ways.
The pigment in the paint is rich and I find I can make almost any color from the essential pack. I love the way the paint is so smooth and easy to work with. I paint realistically and this paint is perfect for mixing on my palette and applying on my canvas. I really appreciate that Geneva paints are non-toxic making them my preferred paints. Being in Australia I have previously had to mix paint with Mark's recommended additives - these worked OK but it meant a lot of work mixing and making - the new paints straight from the tube are a dream - well done to the scientific team.
It's a really great oil paint. Ill be buying more in the future
